The Story Behind The Brand

Behind every name there is a story, even though to some the story may not be known by its users; such is not the case of the name Mr. Jack. Jack was the middle name given to Clarence Jack Malone, a born native of Macon, Mississippi who early in his life, moved his family to East St. Louis Illinois. Clarence Jack Malone (deceased) is the grandfather of restaurant CEO Carlos L. Malone, Sr. Mr. Jack became the nickname given to Carlos as a child because he was short for a very long time like his grandfather, so family members and friends affectionately called him, Mr. Jack. In honor of Mr. Clarence Jack Malone, who was exceptional in the kitchen, a stickler on cleanliness and a charming communicator; we decided to begin a chain of different restaurants in his memory. It is our intention to leave a legacy that will perpetuate itself for generations to come.
